This department works to enhance the health and well-being of Afghans by providing for effective health care services. Healthy and productive individuals, families, and communities are the very foundation of the nation`s prosperity.

By addressing public health and health needs of vulnerable populations, women, elderly, promoting child and adolescent development, A4T seeks to saves lives and improve the health of needy Afghans.


Abdullah Omar Health Post - Wardak Province


The Abdullah Omar Health Post, in the village of Shekh Yassin, which is located in the Chak district of Wardak Province.

-The Health Post opened to all villagers on June 3, 2007 providing basic health care and provided the villagers with easy access to medicines, and working with the Ministry of Public Health; immunizations for their children.

-Cost: $27,000
-Project Donors include the ERD, (with inspiration and support from board member Rev Chloe Breyer), the Boulder and Fort Collins CO. Rotary clubs, the Fayaz Company and individual donors.
